Online application for Lex Beckham law and digital nomad visa in Spain for individuals and entrepreneurs

1. Requirements Tax residency:

  • The applicant must not have had tax residency in Spain in the last 5 tax years prior to moving to Spain.
  • The move to Spain must be for professional reasons, such as: Signing an employment contract with a company based in Spain (excluding professional athletes).
  • As a remote worker for a foreign company Appointment as managing director of a Spanish company Carrying out an entrepreneurial activity that is considered innovative and of particular economic interest to Spain, confirmed by a positive report from the competent authority ENISA.
  • The applicant should be a qualified professional
  • The application is possible within 6 months of starting work in Spain. But please respect, just the NIE can take 30-40 days.

2. People who can apply for Lex Beckham in Spain:

  • Employees: persons who are permanently moving to Spain on the basis of an employment relationship
  • Managing directors: persons who assume the role of legal representative of a company, regardless of their level of participation, provided that it is not a holding company.

The fees for Lex Beckham and the Digital Nomad visa applications

The fee for applying for the Beckham Law is €1,200.00 for EU citizens if you already have a NIE. If you do not yet have a NIE, the fee is €1,790.00, which includes the application fee for your NIE. Your application will be reviewed immediately after ordering and payment.

As a EU citizen you can apply for the Beckham application as an employee of a Spanish or foreign (sending) company or as an entrepreneur in Spain. The fix fee for the entrepreneur package is €2,800.00 which also includes the establishment of a Spanish company (SL) or a freelance application (autonomo), which you will need for the application.

Application for Digital nomad visa
A non-EU citizen has to apply for the digital nomad visa.

Fix fee for the Digital Nomad visa is €2,400 Euro.

Fix fee for a digital nomad visa incl. Spanish NIE: €2,900.00.

Fix fee for a Digital Nomad visa including the setup of a Spanish company or a freelancer application (autonomo): €4,900.
