The incidence of victims suffering side-effects from Nolotil ingestion has become more frequent in Spain, a trend identified as a result of the private initiative of some activists, and the recent fatalities of a reported 10 British tourists prescribed NOLOTIL. The Spanish health authority “Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS)” has latterly intervened and has issued guidelines to hospitals, medical clinics and pharmacies effectively prohibiting the sale or prescription of NOLOTIL to tourists.
There are already more than 200 victim reports which are currently being legally evaluated.
